Divorce Mediation and the International Client

Although our current political arguments might lead you to think otherwise, the reality is that we live in a world with more and more international connections. I have practiced family law for over forty years and have represented many clients with such backgrounds. Many attorneys lack that kind of experience whereas I have represented clients through the years on issues such as international custody, international relocation, child abduction, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, etc. I have also represented clients on Hague Convention cases.

It has been an aspect of my practice that I greatly enjoy and has allowed me to meet people with interesting backgrounds. The very complexity of the issues that sometimes arise can be very interesting to a lawyer and, candidly, a welcome diversion from the more familiar fact patterns I encounter.
